Our Indian entity, DESL, was incorporated as a successor to the Maltese company, with a clear vision to plan and execute rig reactivation projects on a global scale. We specialize in comprehensive drilling rig reactivation, handling projects from both cold-stacked and warm-stacked conditions with precision and efficiency.
Our technical teams carefully study the entire lifecycle of each project—from initial planning through execution—while continuously monitoring progress to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery. We also provide dedicated post-project support tailored to client requirements. With proven expertise, we have successfully handled projects involving the maintenance of marine assets and the sail-out and movement of offshore units for demolition voyages.

Our Team
A seasoned drilling expert with nearly four decades of experience in both onshore and offshore operations. Starting his career as a Roustabout, he progressed to the role of Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), reflecting his strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities. He played a key role in establishing the operations of British Oil & Gas Exploration Ltd in Nigeria in 2008, contributing significantly to its successful execution.
An accomplished Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience across onshore and offshore rigs worldwide. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, he specializes in the design, maintenance, and optimization of complex mechanical systems. His expertise includes leading CAPEX and OPEX projects, ensuring asset integrity, and managing both rotating and static equipment. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance, adhering to industry codes such as API and ASME.
